Whether you are going to be away for a few days or for an extended period during the day, Family Compass is a full-service pet sitting company that caters to you, the pet parent. We match your pet with one of our caring, vetted sitters, make all scheduling arrangements including any requested meet & greets, handle all payments to the sitters, and, most importantly, ensure all of your questions or concerns are answered by humans.
The services provided by Family Compass are based on your needs, not ours. There are no additional premiums for weekends and holidays, no mileage costs, and no extra charges for activities that every pet parent routinely does and wants for their furry family members, such as giving them treats, cuddling with them, playing with them, and exercising them. All sitting jobs and visits in your home include a range of time, not a set number of minutes. This allows for flexibility in how the pet sitter can care for your pets.
While you are away, our professional sitters are available to provide updates to you. As Family Compass values the privacy of our families, our sitters will never share your pets' information or pictures without your consent.

Services & Rates
Family Compass offers Sitting and Drop-In services in your home.
- Sitting services are designed for when you will not be available to care for your pet for 24 hours or more.
- Drop-In services are for when your availability to care for your pet is limited within a 24-hour period.
Sitting rates are per day; drop-in rates are per visit. Rates are for services for healthy pets. Specialized services for puppies/kittens, elderly, or medically fragile or compromised pets that require more than these services may be provided at an additional cost.

Services include 2 visits a day. $75/day for 1st cat $20/day for 2nd cat $15/day for each additional cat Drop-In In our experience, cats usually do not require a visit during the day. However, your furry family member may need one, or you may want him/her to have one. If so, please let us know about your cat and his/her needs. Services and costs will be determined accordingly. |

What is included in a visit?
Each visit ranges from 20 – 45 minutes, based on your pet and his/her needs. Per your instructions, our professional pet sitter can perform any of the following services for your pet:

Other Pets
If you have a pet, in addition to a dog or cat, or anything other than them, just let us know. Many of our professional sitters have experience caring for a variety of pets. They would be happy to provide the services you may be interested in.
Booking Details
To secure a booking, all pets will need verification of up-to-date rabies vaccinations. Dogs will also need a Distemper/DAPP/DHLP/DA2PP/ DHPP or DPP with Adenovirus shot, and cats FVRCP. All pets are required to be on a flea and tick regimen; for dogs, a heartworm prevention protocol is also needed.
Payment for services is due in full upon booking. Major credit cards & Zelle accepted.
Cancellations: More than 48 hours in advance, a full refund is issued. Less than 48 hours, a cancellation fee of the lesser of the total booking fee or $100 is applied. All cancellations are charged credit card processing fees, if applicable.
